- What exactly does Adapex do?
Adapex is a yield-optimization and publisher monetization partner. We combine hands-on ad operations, proprietary technology, curated deals, and data-driven optimization to increase revenue, improve site performance, and build long-term, sustainable monetization—across both cookieless and cookie-enabled environments.
- Are you a monetization platform or an ad network?
We are neither. Adapex is a managed monetization partner that optimizes your entire demand stack—open auction, header bidding, curated deals, PMPs, and direct demand. We do not buy inventory like an ad network; instead, we help you earn more from the demand sources you already have, plus new premium ones we bring to the table.
- How are you different from other yield monetization partners?
Unlike scaled, one-size-fits-all platforms, Adapex delivers customized yield strategy, premium demand curation, and hands-on optimization for every publisher—no tiers, no automated-only approach.
Our wrapper, Merlin™, is engineered for speed, Core Web Vitals, and high performance. It supports advanced features including curated deals, intelligent refresh, and server-side bidding without adding page bloat.
Where others rely heavily on automated templates, we provide a strategic team + flexible tech model that gives publishers more control, more transparency, and stronger performance—especially for mid-sized publishers who typically get deprioritized by larger networks. - Do you take over our ad stack or work with what’s already in place?
We enhance your existing setup. Our wrapper and yield tools plug into your current stack, adding optimization layers, curated demand, and incremental revenue without forcing you to change partners.
- Will I lose control over my ad setup?
No. You maintain full ownership and approval of all changes. We provide recommendations and optimizations, but your team has final say on everything.
- Can I A/B test against my current partner?
Yes. We fully support A/B and traffic-split testing to benchmark performance side by side—and demonstrate the incremental lift Adapex provides.
Communication & Support
- How involved is your team after onboarding?
Extremely involved. Our Customer Success and Yield teams continuously monitor your performance, adjust strategy, test new optimizations, and proactively identify growth opportunities. We are a hands-on partner, not a passive integrator.
- Will I have a dedicated point of contact?
Yes. Every publisher has a dedicated Customer Success Manager supported by our Yield and Technical teams.
- What does communication look like?
Weekly or biweekly check-ins during onboarding, followed by monthly (or more frequent) strategy meetings. We’re available via email, Slack, and calls anytime.
- Can I make changes to ad layouts or settings later?
Yes, you can make changes anytime. Your account specialists will guide you with the best recommendations based on performance and UX.
- What’s your average response time for support?
We commit to responding within a few hours.
- Do you offer Slack or shared dashboards?
Yes. Dashboards are included; Slack access is available upon request for faster communication.
Integration & Setup
- How easy is it to implement Adapex?
Implementation is simple—just a single line of code in the header and ad unit codes to replace the existing setup. We handle all configuration, onboarding, and post-launch optimization.
- Do I need to update my ads.txt file?
Yes, and we make it very easy. Our in-house tool, Mosaic, automatically maintains and updates your ads.txt for accuracy and compliance, removing the need for plugins or manual edits.
- What size ads do you offer?
All standard IAB sizes plus custom formats where supported. We tailor size recommendations based on layout, performance data, and your goals.
- What’s the typical onboarding time?
Typically 1–2 weeks, depending on site complexity and how quickly onboarding requirements are completed.
- Do I need to change my current ad units?
Not necessarily. We can work with your existing setup. However, after a thorough site audit, our team may recommend size or layout adjustments to help maximize performance and revenue.
- Do you need access to my GAM account?
Yes. We onboard through our GAM network via Google’s MCM program, enabling full optimization while you retain ownership and visibility.
- What if I already have AdSense, AdX, or Prebid?
No problem—we integrate with them and optimize performance further. Most publishers see uplift without having to remove existing demand partners.
- Will this slow down my site?
No. Merlin™ is lightweight and built for speed, with smart lazy loading, optimized refresh, and features designed to protect Core Web Vitals.
- Do I need a developer to install anything?
Minimal developer involvement is needed—just initial code placement.
- Can I test your tech before committing?
Yes. We offer low-risk live testing and A/B splits. Publishers can opt out if results don’t meet expectations, though our wrapper consistently delivers strong performance gains.
Revenue & Reporting
- What CPMs or eCPMs can I expect?
CPMs vary based on site, traffic quality, and seasonality, but most publishers see a 30%+ uplift during initial testing. Additional gains often come from curated deals and ongoing optimization.
- How do you calculate revenue share?
We operate on a transparent revenue-share model. Please contact us for specific terms based on your needs.
- What are your payment terms (e.g., net 30, net 45)?
Net 60.
- When and how do I get paid?
Payments are made monthly following the net terms, through your established payment method.
- Will I make more than I do now?
Most publishers see significant revenue uplift through our optimizations, curated demand, and ongoing yield work.
- Do I get real-time reporting?
Reporting is near real-time through our dashboard integrations.
- Can I track revenue by page, geo, or device?
Yes—deep segmentation is fully supported.
- What metrics do you focus on?
RPM, viewability, engagement metrics, and revenue. We customize KPIs based on your goals.
- Do you report in Google Ad Manager or a separate dashboard?
We don’t provide direct access to our Google Ad Manager, as it contains network-level data and configurations beyond any single publisher’s scope. However, we offer a comprehensive reporting dashboard that gives full visibility into all key performance metrics you need for revenue monitoring and analysis.
For long-term contractual partners, we also conduct periodic audits against GAM to ensure transparency and data integrity. This approach allows us to give you reliable, detailed reporting while maintaining the necessary security and separation within our ad stack.
Policy & Preferences
- Can I block specific ad categories?
Yes. Blocking by category, advertiser, or domain is fully supported and customizable.
- Do you support ads.txt and sellers.json?
Yes—and we actively manage them. Our tools ensure compliance, accuracy, and optimized demand across partners.
- Will I lose access to my Google AdX account if I work with Adapex?
No. You retain ownership of all accounts. We simply optimize them for better yield.
- Can I set floors or prioritize direct deals?
Absolutely. We support dynamic floors, rule-based pricing, and prioritization of your direct demand or PMPs.
- Am I locked into a long-term contract?
No, you are not required to sign a long-term contract. Most publishers start with a flexible agreement to evaluate performance.
However, many partners choose to move to a longer-term contract because it unlocks preferential revenue-share terms, priority access to new features, dedicated curated deals, and faster roadmap implementation.
