Czechtheworld.com Revenue Soars after Site Optimization

Situation

Czechtheworld.com came to Adapex with several site performance issues.  Additionally, they felt as though they weren’t getting the hands-on account attention or optimization advice they needed from their current partner.  Czechtheworld.com was experiencing slow page load, site breakages, and too many dynamically inserted ads.

Solution

After performing a comprehensive site audit, the first thing that Adapex did was to immediately  fix ad sizes and units.  Ads were loading too large, filling the page and negatively affecting user experience.  We enabled multi-sized ads for maximum demand, but made sure they fit within their frames so as not to disrupt UI.  This was an important fix and led to a significant uplift in time spent on the site, pageviews, and thus revenues overall.

We continued to work closely with the Czechtheworld.com team to recommend and implement other optimizations to improve site performance.  We implemented our full Adapex M4 Tech™Suite  including:

With the Merlin™ wrapper in place were able to utilize special rich media formats to increase demand and to serve larger, higher impact units, more ad sizes, and fluid native format sizes which have higher CPMs and increased viewability. We have also introduced bid caching and have recommended lazy loading.  Viewability is a key metric for advertisers: the higher the viewability the higher the CPMs.

And, as Google Core Web Vitals (“CWV”)  becomes increasingly important, bid caching and lazy loading help improve page speed, the first critical pillar to CWV. In turn, this further enhances user experience as well as CPMs and RPMs.

The Adapex team performs ongoing optimizations through a dedicated Client Success Manager who is continually analyzing the site, and working with our optimizations team — updating the tech, and recommending improvements to drive revenue growth.
